Parallel to the change in the position and role of women, the geographical mobility and independent migration of women has grown significantly in recent years. This phenomenon has unknown dimensions and consequences, especially from the point of view of immigrant women themselves. Our goal of this research is to understand the contexts and consequences of independent migration of young girls. This research was carried out with a qualitative approach and grounded theory method. we collected data through semi-structured interviews with 18 young women who immigrated to Yazd alone. The selection of participants was done by purposeful and snowball sampling. After the implementation, we analyzed the data using the Codding in grounded theory. The result of the analysis is presented in the form of 7 main categories, a central category and a grounded theory theoretical model. The main categories are preference for strangeness, job/financial securance, taste for independent living, family pressure and control, collapse of negative mentality from immigration, distance from the host community and housing impasse. The construction of split-identity was also made as central category .The findings showed that the unstable life at the origin with the split life at the destination has led to the formation of a divided identity among the participants.Parallel to the change in the position and role of women, the geographical mobility and independent migration of women has grown significantly in recent years. Despite dramatic increases of women in higher education, a significant gap remains in women's socio-economic activities, a manifestation of success in life today. This study aims to investigate the barriers and facilitators of success for women. We used a grounded theory approach and semi-structured interviews to conduct a qualitative study with women between 30 and 40 years. Using theoretical and purposive sampling, we continued the interviews until achieving theoretical saturation, and finally, 25 people were interviewed. After transposing data into MAXQDA qualitative data analysis software, they were analyzed using constructivist grounded theory coding methods. The findings emerged in eight categories: (1) one-dimensional socialization and external limitations, (2) restrictions on career prospects, (3) lack of financial and family support, (4) lack of skill-based training, (5) role pressure of housekeeping (6) access to university education (7) focus on personal empowerment and (8) cyberspace opportunities. “Constraints and role duality” was considered the core category. The findings suggest that the intersectional socio-cultural systems that shape individuals' identities involve women in a cycle of learning about systemic influences so that participants develop the semantic structures needed to filter out discriminatory effects. It should be noted that the social system has been able to provide new opportunities for women; however, the weight of gender social components is still high, and these opportunities have not been realized

The current study aims to explore problem of everyday social interactions amongst women head of household in Shahin-Shahr. The research was done based on qualitative approach using grounded theory method for data collection and analysis. The purposeful and theoretical sampling method was used for selection of the participants. Semi-structured interviews were carried out with 35 women head of household. By data analysis in open, axial, and selective coding, 8 categories were constructed and presented in a paradigm model. Women head of household have experienced their social interactions in the form of unsafe privacy. Finally, a paradigmatic model of “unsafe limits” is the central concept obtained from the current study.

Lack of intimacy and emotional disconnection became a main challenge in contemporary family that can be interpreted and perceived differently from variant viewpoints. The current study aimed to explore the context and women’s way of dealing by emotional separation through investigation of perception and subjective meaning of women involved in this process. Research was done in qualitative approach using grounded theory design. Sample included 33 women of city of Yazd- Iran that were variant according to age, education, marriage duration and spouse age difference. Participants were selected by purpose ful sampling method and participated in semi-structured interviews. Data was analyzed by theoretical coding method. The analysis results showed that women participants perceived emotional divorce as communication-support shortage. The context of emotional divorce process started before marriage in abnormal family sphere and continued by risky marriage. Disloyalty, regression and risky media usage after marriage are important themes for emotional separation. Women react to and deal with emotional separation by some adaptive and deconstructive interactions. Finally, research theoretical model was obtained from these themes and categories.
